Come One Call All
…to the Great Darke County Fair
We have a lot to be proud of in Ohio. We’re home to open country farming, wonderful cities, innovation, growth, and entrepreneurship. We get to see every one of those things come together at our local county fair.
This year will mark the 162nd Darke County Fair. Within those 162 years we’ve established quite a few staples that truly make the Darke County Fair so great! The food, the rides, the races, the animals, artwork, contests and so much more. The concerts alone have featured some big artists like Lady Antebellum and the Beach Boys!
There’s one thing we haven’t mentioned yet, the community. The fair is a place where farmers, business owners, nonprofits, musicians, performers, children, grandparents, athletes, and others all come together. People can spend time catching up and working together. As a small business, we thrive off of the community working together and benefitting one another. We love to see this in action at the fair.
Myself and the rest of my siblings have had the privilege of growing up showing animals at the fair. From those experiences, I saw people give of their time, money, and hard work. I watched as my own hard work came to fruition. I would not have the passion for community that I have today without the good, old, county fair.
It is always a reminder of why we do what we do: advertise for small businesses within the community to promote their product or service to other members of the community and help drive prosperity.
