Territory Manager / Sales

Huntington Outdoor is a rapidly growing media company located in Greenville Ohio with billboard assets in 42 counties throughout the state of Ohio & Indiana.

We are seeking an aggressive sales professional to take charge of one of our most active territories, maintain existing customer accounts and attract new clients within an assigned region. The successful candidate will work diligently to sell our available advertising space using effective sales strategies. This individual will work closely with our design, administrative, and installation teams to ensure the best experience for our customers.

Skills / Experience

  • 5+ years of sales experience preferred. Advertising sales experience would be a plus.
  • Cold calling, diligent prospecting & presentation skills are mandatory.
  • Those applying need to be highly self-motivated, independent and organized.
  • Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills. Experience with CRM software a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Sales Administrator – Huntington Outdoor Advertising

This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Management & Sales Team’s efforts to meet and exceed revenue & operational goals.
This role will support the General Manager (GM), Sale team (Territory Managers), Design team & Install team to ensure timely delivery and execution of the complete sales process. The Sales Administrator must possess strong communication and organization skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Initiate and maintain a good working relationship with GM & all Territory Managers, office personnel, local clients, as well as advertising agencies and out-of-home buying services.

Provide great customer service with follow up on any /all requests on behalf of the GM & Territory Managers.

Learn and understand all the functions of our inventory management software, Apparatix (APX).

Coordinate and process advertising contracts, internal work orders, production agreements, paper request forms, client posting instructions, completion reports, credits, CCF’s and all other paperwork associated with completing the sales process.

Coordinate and track production activities of accounts and provide accurate completion reports upon installation.

Develop a clear understanding of the Apparatix software platform (APX) with the ability to create effective proposals, contracts and maps for the Territory Managers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with all clients and accounting, finance, and operations teams; and contribute to the achievement of quality results.

Think creatively while juggling several projects and ideas at once.

Partners with the GM and Sales team on all facets of client relations including proposal completion, media plans, and customer service.

Provides outstanding customer service through product knowledge, industry news and market expertise.

Administers the contract process from creation to execution for direct clients or agencies including creating and processing any related forms.

Facilitates daily communication between sales team, creative, accounting, and install teams to help fulfill client requests.

Acts as the APX “specialist”. Assists management & all teams with requests, reports and training.

Collaborates with sales, billing and the collection teams to assist with the billing process.

If needed, could assist with inbound sales requests and call-ins, present locations, negotiate and close business.

 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize.

Must be able to multi-task.

Willingness to perform other related duties as required

Proficiency with all Microsoft products as well as Google docs, drives, calendars & maps.

Strong analytic capabilities and interest in advertising, marketing and sales.

Self-motivated with 3-5+ years of related work experience.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Marketing background a plus.

This is a full-time position / 40 hours a week in our Greenville Ohio office

  • 35 Minutes from Celina Ohio
  • 35 Minutes from Richmond Indiana
